Aggregation and disaggregation issues in distributed simulation
This project aims to deal the issues of aggregation and disaggregation of entities in Agent-Based Simulation and their potential solutions. Its main objectives are to list all types of problems with the aggregation and disaggregation, as well as investigate algorithms to solve the problems of the tw...

Its main objectives are to list all types of problems with the aggregation and disaggregation, as well as investigate algorithms to solve the problems of the two techniques. The solutions will be tested on, but not restricted to, simple military scenarios and investigate solutions for those issues in Multi-Resolution Modelling (MRM) and Multi-Resolution Entities(MRE). Its other objective is to investigate useful rules for entities dealing with, but not limited, to size, speed, position and algorithms for combat arbitration between aggregates and non-aggregate entities for federates in the HLA RTI environment.
