Summary: | This paper sets to present a conceptual framework for entrepreneurship education, self-efficacy in an entrepreneurial mindset (EM), and risk-propensity on entrepreneurial behaviour by probing empirically the relationships between them. Data from 104 responses in a standardised survey was analysed through logistic regression models to understand the correlations. From the study, the direct relationships are considered significant and positive while the EM is ruled out as a mediator for entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial behaviour. The findings provide support for existing literature regarding entrepreneurship behaviour while justifying the inclusion of EM and risk-propensity into the model when they were ruled out or not considered. Recommendation for entrepreneurship education to be delivered as a mix of classroom-based programs and hands-on experiential learning is made. |
