Description
Summary:This report illustrates the project undertaken by the author for the Final Year Project during the final year of Computer Engineering course at Nanyang Technological University. The purpose of the project is to design and develop a Mobile Identification System in which users are able to use a mobile device as a personal token for authentication purposes. The system developed by the author provides secure communication, authentication, and access control services to the user. At the same time, security measures are in place to prevent and impede common attacks such as replay attack, eavesdropping and keystroke logging. A mobile application and server program are developed which involve the implementation of various security methodologies and authentication protocol will be explained in this report. The results of the tests conducted to ensure the correctness and reliability of the system will also be presented.
