Description
Summary:Taking into serious consideration of the ongoing progress of the global economy and continuous advancements in science and technology, a pressing challenge emerges: the rapid depletion of non-renewable energy resources available for human consumption. The current predicament has underlined the urgent attention to prioritize the shift towards the development and utilization of renewable energy sources. As such, the pursuit of renewable energy resources has now emerged as a critically important strategic issue which holds profound implications for long-term sustainability of the planet and the well-being of all its inhabitants. Given the above context, this study aims to delves deep into the paradigm of wind power modules, primarily focused on wind power systems. Through detailed and meticulous interpretation and analysis of real-world data, the reliability and dependability of these wind power system is assessed. To do so, estimations and calculations in the context of a specific case study involving a wind power plant is deployed. Therefore, the ultimate objective is to ascertain and validate the LOLE and EENS for the wind power facility, elucidating its overall reliability and stability. In addition to the quantitative analysis, multifaceted approach to enhancing the reliability of wind power plant is outlined and explored. By comprehensively examining the challenges and vulnerabilities faced by wind power installations, areas for improvement are identified for future research endeavors. In essence, this piece of work wishes to facilitate the evaluation, discussion and ultimately transition towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly landscape.
