Description
Summary:Teleprompters play a pivotal role in the media industry, facilitating seamless script delivery for news reporters and presenters. They relieve the burden of script memorisation, allowing for a more focused and stress-free delivery of messages. However, the cost associated with traditional teleprompter equipment restricts access for smaller production teams, and the human-operated systems are susceptible to errors. In response to these challenges, this project aims to create a voice-synchronised teleprompter (VST) that harnesses the power of sound wave energy analysis with an RMS based word detection model. The primary objective is to develop a lightweight, user-friendly application that enables users to effortlessly input scripts and commence reading. The VST will track the speaker's position and scroll text, ushering in a new era of accessible and error-free teleprompting technology.
