In this pipe structural, we are using APL 5L X60 steel pipes and equipment like filter, ultrasonic gas flow meters, flanges, flow control valve, check valve and different sizes of valves. We will analyze only one section of the pipe structural for the displacement and stresses. With the result of the analysis, we can then see whether we need to add or reduce the supports to the pipe structural. This project aims to find the stress level and the displacement of the pipeline. The use of Finite Element Analysis is computer-aided software that uses to calculate the engineering application. It is a fundamentally an approximation of an underlying mathematical model to the real physical application. Its boundary conditions approximate the application is supported with the material properties assumed are approximate also. Many details are idealized, simplified or ignored.
Today, a lot of engineering, civil engineering and other disciplines problems are using finite element analysis to analyze problems. It calculates the stress, strain, vibration, deflection, buckling and others separately, and then it analyzes all the data and gives an acceptable approximate value.
We are using the finite element analysis software ANSYS to find the stresses and displacement of the pipe structural build. In the pipe structural, there is other equipment other than the pipe itself.
