Summary:Sustainability has become paramount in light of escalating global warming crisis. This project aims to empower sustainability by providing carbon emission insights into streaming media consumption. This is done by leveraging on a video carbon emission calculator as well as a movie recommender system which strives to raise user awareness about their streaming footprint and enable informed decision-making. By making these insights available to users, we aim to create an environment where users will be more conscious towards their streaming media. In this project, we also discuss the methodology of the carbon emission calculator as well as the recommender system, the limitations as well as future work.
