Summary: | This study explores a uniform transmission line circuit model for Subwavelength Surface Plasmon Polaritons (SSPPs) and establishes dispersion curve models for SPPs and SSPP. The comparative analysis of the performance of these two surface wave localization phenomena is conducted. Furthermore, the proposed U-shaped SSPP unit design is employed to validate the relationship between the U-shaped dispersion curve equation and cell parameters, facilitating the calculation and comparison of equivalent inductance, equivalent capacitance parameters, and environmental factors. In the context of engineering applications for hybrid waveguide SSPPs, the study derives the unique properties of SSPP signal amplification and presents a modelling verification, laying the groundwork for future hardware experiments and validation. |
