Description
Summary:Multiple studies have shown that the Reactive Magnesia Cement-based Bacteria Spores (RMC-B) capsule is an innovative method to add a self-healing function in concrete, specifically in traditional Portland Cement Concrete (PCC). In the construction industry, Three-Dimensional Concrete Printing (3DCP) is an emerging technology. But, due to the limitations of the methodology and the material, final products might behave in different manners. The purpose of this report is to find a concrete mix design that may be used for 3D printing and includes a self-healing function with RMC-B powder. A proper amount of RMC-B powder was suggested for self-healing 3D printing concrete based on several evaluations of its specific characteristics, such as flowability, buildability, and compressive strength.
