Description
Summary:This study aims to classify images of reinforced concrete (RC) structures by examining characteristic crack patterns associated with specific failure modes in RC columns, beams, and walls. Post-classification, shear strength equations are employed to determine the shear force to predicted shear strength ratio (m), utilizing various parameters obtained from the collected database. The study explores the probabilistic distribution characteristics of not only the ratio (m) but also other crucial parameters (ρvfyv, ρlfy, L/d, and P). The findings offer valuable insights into the likely failure modes of RC structures, enhancing our understanding of structural behaviour and providing essential information for structural assessment and maintenance.
