Description
Summary:This letter presents an initial investigation of static voltage stability margin (VSM) in the context of a heat and electricity integrated energy system (HE-IES). The integration of diverse energy sources into power systems presents challenges in terms of voltage stability. To address this, we propose a novel static VSM model that incorporates thermal dynamics for HE-IES. The model is accompanied by an associated solution algorithm. Through simulation results, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method and reveal the crucial role that thermal dynamics play in impacting VSM. These results highlight the importance of considering thermal dynamics in static VSM evaluations for HE-IES.
