That being said special attention needs to taken when dealing with the increasing trend of E-commerce fraud. While active measures have been taken to combat this, fraud cases involving E-commerce continues to rise. A bulk of the research that has been done focus generally for By going into a deep dive of the policies of Carousell, Shopee and the Singapore government, to understand their strategies and methods of countering E-commerce fraud. This report will aim to identify the effectiveness of those strategies and methods, the report will also identify flaws in those various measures and with that come up with recommendations in regards to counterfeit products, removing anonymity of users to allow for greater transparency, improving users education that will greatly benefit users of the E-commerce space.
