Delving into the background and insights into educational certificate forgery and the implications in the local context. The primary focus of this project is the exploration of Cardano as the blockchain technology for smart contract development. Leveraging its unique eUTXO model, to store and validate educational certificates, offering a temper proof method against forgery. Furthermore, this project also provides comparison analysis between Cardano and the current leading blockchain technology, Ethereum. By elucidating their strengths and weaknesses of each blockchain technology, it will provide future smart contract developers valuable insights on selecting the most suitable blockchain technology for their use cases.
