We can find a multitude of applications on the app store and various application publishing platforms, encompassing gaming, shopping, chatting, and more. However, a special group, the elderly, is often forgotten. Despite their efforts to stay current with the fast-paced changes of modern times, the rapid evolution of technology, including application software, can present a significant challenge. Learning new technology, such as using a mobile phone, may take much time for most of the elderly. Therefore, we are exploring how these benefits can help older people. This project aims to develop a mobile application that enhances the connection between caregivers and the elderly. To ensure that the elderly can benefit from the convenience offered by software applications, this new software is designed to provide a range of helpful features. Among these features is the ability for users to set reminders specifically tailored to the needs of the elderly. These reminders can include important tasks such as scheduling physical examinations, remembering to take medications on time, and even helping with navigating maps. By incorporating these functionalities, the software aims to simplify daily routines for seniors and promote their overall well-being and independence. To achieve these goals, an Android app is developed. Android was selected due to its compatibility with mobile phones, which are inherently more user-friendly for the elderly compared to computers. The intuitive interface of mobile phones makes them accessible and easier for older individuals to learn. Additionally, mobile phones offer convenience and versatility that surpass traditional computers, allowing for the development of a wider range of functions tailored to the needs of seniors. Therefore, leveraging Android as the operating system ensures that the mobile application can effectively cater to the preferences and capabilities of the elderly, ultimately enhancing their overall user experience and engagement.
