Currently, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) depends on a rather archaic form of attendance taking that requires manual signing on physical paper. This pen-and-paper system is cumbersome to manage and worse, is error prone and easy to abuse. The new Online Attendance Management System (OAMS) aims to provide a stable cloud-based attendance management platform to replace the old system. OAMS can integrate with NTU’s current processes and will also be capable of handling future feature additions to complement NTU’s ever-evolving requirements and needs.
