Description
Summary:Droplet Photography is a niche in photography where one captures the beauty of liquid droplet collisions. Randomness in each collision both accentuates their beauty and complicates the photo taking process. It is difficult to reproduce conditions to make two collisions appear similar. Many factors including timing of drops, alignment, and when the shutter is triggered, affect the final photograph. The process of capturing droplets is largely manual in nature and thus, introduces more variables affecting the final product. Hence, to reduce the impact of human error, this project leapfrogs off the previous Final Year Project (FYP) to improve upon the droplet system’s consistency by introducing Time-of-Flight (TOF) sensors to calibrate the system. The TOF sensors reduces the guesswork one must perform to obtain consistent drop timings. This project also streamlines the user interface to enhance the intuitiveness of using the system.
