Summary:High-speed photography is a challenging endeavor, requiring photographers to meticulously time their shots to capture fleeting moments like water splashes or bursting balloons. These scenes unfold in the blink of an eye, demanding rapid reflexes and precise timing. Traditionally, photographers have had to invest significant time and effort, waiting patiently for the perfect moment to press the shutter button. However, with the advent of advanced technologies, such as integrated sensors and automated systems, the landscape of high-speed photography is rapidly evolving. In this project, we introduce Snap Buddy, an innovative tool designed to revolutionize high-speed photography. Developed with the aim of streamlining photography workflows and reducing photographer fatigue, Snap Buddy harnesses the power of integrated sensors while offering expandability through its external ports. These ports enable the integration of actuators and additional sensors, enhancing the system's capabilities and versatility. By leveraging this combination of integrated sensors and external connectivity, Snap Buddy autonomously triggers the camera when specific conditions are met, empowering photographers to effortlessly capture stunning images. Whether it's freezing the motion of a bursting balloon or documenting the impact of a projectile, Snap Buddy ensures unparalleled accuracy and efficiency in high-speed photography tasks.
