This project aims to create an investment tracking web application featuring a proof-of-concept chatbot, capitalizing on ChatGPT and Retrieval Augmented Generation to address portfolio-related inquiries for beginner investors. Developed using Django and React, the system will seamlessly integrate with the OpenAI Assistants API, facilitating data retrieval and external function calling. It is essential to underscore that this project serves as a proof-of-concept, and the responses generated by the chatbot should not be construed as financial advice.
