Summary: | The Final Year Project (FYP) module represents a pivotal cornerstone for students in the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), facilitating the practical application of their learning through project work. To manage the complexities of project and examiner allocations, the Student Selection System (SSS) and the FYP Examiner Allocation System (FEAS) were developed. Despite their utility, the emergence of the FYP-App proposes an integrated solution, combining the functionalities of the SSS, FEAS, and the previously external Student Computation Application (SCA) into a singular, streamlined platform. This centralization not only simplifies user interaction, but also leverages modern technologies for enhanced development efficiency.
The Master’s Professional Internship (MPI-App) System serves to bridge the gap between master's students and potential employers, streamlining the application process for professional internships. It provides dual interfaces catering to both student and companies.
This report delves into the work previously accomplished by past batches of students, maintenance of existing systems by resolving current underlying issues, and the active development of new functionalities in the new system. |
