This will provide various stakeholders with insights enabling them to make better and more informed decisions such as port operators to ensure its smooth operation while optimizing the maritime traffic management. This project aims to improve upon previous models by more accurately simulating vessel movements, particularly in terms of turning and speed adjustments. Enhancing the realism of vessel behaviour leads to more reliable results from studies and analyses conducted using the simulator. The simulator is used to analyse the capacity and navigational efficiency within Tuas Mega Port waters under different traffic loads and simulated durations. The insights gained from these simulations can be used to identify areas for improvement and guide the development of policies to enhance the efficiency and performance of the port.
