Description
Summary:In today's fast-paced and stressful world, people often struggle to manage their emotions and maintain concentration. The idea of using music as a tool for emotional regulation has been studied for decades, and research has shown that certain types of music can have a significant impact on a person's emotional state. One of the many ways to identify a person’s emotion is by their facial expression. Historically, most studies on facial expression have relied on photos of facial expressions which focus was mainly on emotion recognition, particularly recognition accuracy. The project aims to use the combination of these two: facial recognition, and music, to create a powerful tool that allows an effective music listening experience specially curated for the user in the pursuit of improving focus, emotional well-being, and psychological mindset.
