Description
Summary:Supply chain resilience has become increasingly vital in today's dynamic business environment, where disruptions are commonplace. Despite the extensive literature on resilience assessment frameworks, there remains a lack of consensus on the calculation of assessment scores, particularly concerning methodological considerations and limitations. This paper aims to bridge this gap by comprehensively comparing different resilience assessment calculation methodologies. Drawing upon insights from prior studies, an assessment framework is introduced that considers both vulnerability and capability factors. Moreover, the intricacies of scoring considerations are delved into, exploring diverse metrics and their implications. Through simulation validation, the effectiveness of the proposed calculation methods is empirically demonstrated, providing valuable insights for practitioners seeking to enhance their resilience evaluation practices. By addressing these key issues, the research contributes to the ongoing discourse on the supply chain resilience assessment framework and offers actionable calculation methods for organizations striving to bolster their resilience strategies in the face of uncertainties and disruptions.
