Summary:Existing impedance measurement systems can only execute through offline impedance measurement. Hardware equipment and manpower are required to perform and monitor on-site impedance measurements. This can be costly and require high maintenance. In this project, an online impedance measurement system will be further enhanced with python software to automatically measure the impedance with the starting frequency, frequency step and ending frequency provided. A developed Red Pitaya will be used as a multifunctional mainboard tool for precise measurement and a Raspberry Pi 4B will be used as a desktop computer to operate basic software with Graphical User Interface (GUI) which continuously measures impedance at a single frequency. Python scripts will be designed and developed to facilitate automatic measurement of impedance with the given frequencies. The results will be displayed graphically on the 7” LCD display.
