Summary: | Augmented reality (AR) technology is now considered a promising tool to enhance educational experiences, particularly in the realm of innovative teaching techniques. This research offers a detailed examination of the most recent developments in augmented reality technology and delves into its application in the educational sector, specifically in visualizing intricate scientific concepts.
The main goal of this research was to investigate how augmented reality can help in teaching and learning electron orbitals, a key concept in chemistry and physics education. By utilizing Vuforia, a platform for augmented reality, several image targets were generated depicting various electron orbital representations.
By continually designing and implementing, a set of augmented reality experiences were created for users to interactively see and control electron orbitals in a three-dimensional setting. The goal of these AR simulations was to offer students a more intuitive and immersive learning experience, enhancing traditional classroom teaching with interactive digital material.
The project also required a thorough examination of current literature on augmented reality technology in education, analyzing the theoretical frameworks, methodologies, and empirical evidence that back up its effectiveness as an instructional aid. By combining ideas from theory and practice, this research adds to the expanding knowledge base about using augmented reality in educational environments.
The results of this study highlight the capacity of augmented reality technology to transform teaching methods and improve student involvement and understanding in STEM subjects. Nevertheless, the research also points out a number of technical obstacles and restrictions faced while carrying out the implementation, indicating potential areas for further exploration and advancement in this swiftly changing sector.
To sum up, this project provides important understanding of the present status of augmented reality technology and its impact on creative teaching methods. This research shows how practical and advantageous it is to utilize augmented reality for illustrating intricate scientific ideas, paving the way for more investigation and testing in educational technology. |
