The increase in inflation rate, interest rate and unemployment rate led to significant impact on the global economic. If one is financially unprepared, one might have insufficient funds to last through times of emergency and might become in debt. Hence, it is important to plan ahead by budgeting expenses in order to save enough money. The purpose of the project was to create an application to aid people in financial planning, especially Singapore residents. This application allows the user to be able to check their financial status, enabling them to know which category meets the minimum requirements and which category could be further improved on. Moreover, the user could also use the application to calculate the number of years left until retirement or check if they have enough money to last through their retirement.
