Description
Summary:Lighting in the dark during sleeping hours would influence the quality of sleep and circadian rhythm. When a human is exposed to sudden changes in illumination during dark-adapted states, physiological effects will be induced, hence affecting the resumption of sleep. This project aims to develop a Smart LED Lighting System (SLLS) dedicated to sleeping hours. Leveraging the use of technologies, the prototype developed is fully automated and capable of adjusting the illumination of lights based on the type of human activity. In this report, the research, development, and evaluation of the project will be discussed in the following chapters below.
