Summary:This report starts by reviewing the capabilities and various platforms of AR technology. It will also analyse the use of AR in education and how visual learning can enhance effective learning. The project presents the development of an augmented reality (AR) application designed to enhance the learning experience in physics education, with a specific focus on the simulation and analysis of pendulum motion. The application is developed based on Unity engine for Android mobile platforms. The development process involves a user experience research phase where potential users are interviewed to understand their challenges in learning and their preferences in educational tools. These insights are used to generate a user-centric design of the application. The application provides accurate simulation of the pendulum motion and enhances students’ learning experience by visualizing the various forced involved in pendulum motion. This simulation is overlaid onto the real world with the help of AR technology, allowing students to view physics principles in action.
