The concept of AR, pioneered in the 1960s, has evolved to overlay digital information onto the real world, enriching user engagement across various fields, including education. Studies indicate that AR-based learning significantly improves students' understanding and motivation by making abstract concepts tangible and interactive. With the AR market in education projected to reach significant growth, this application targets young learners to ignite their interest in AR technology and broaden their knowledge in subjects like science and geography. The AR application is designed to project 3D models and videos of the Solar System when the dedicated book's content is scanned, making learning both intuitive and exciting. The project emphasizes cost-effectiveness and accessibility, ensuring compatibility with widely available mobile devices. Utilizing technologies such as Unity, ARCore, and Firebase, the application supports interactions with a maximum of two image targets simultaneously to maintain performance and tracking accuracy. This innovative educational tool offers a promising, affordable alternative to expensive AR/VR headsets, aiming to foster a deeper understanding of the Solar System and making learning more engaging and accessible.
