Some key aspects to the development and purpose of the Robotic Arm ia automation, where it can automate repetitive tasks and allow humans to focus on more complex or creative aspects of their work. Another aspect would be precision ad accuracy, where the Robotic Arm tends to precede the capabilities of human beings which is highly sought after in areas like surgery, research and manufacturing, where there are low tolerance for mishaps and exact standards to follow. That being said, innovation has played a crucial role in the functional development of Robotic Arms, from a simple task of pick-and-place with objects, to the high-end workings of assisting in medical surgeries and integration with Artificial Intelligence and material sciences. Hence, tapping into this area of innovation, this project would like to incorporate the application techniques of traditional art, where the robotic arm assembled will be programmed to sketch portraits or artworks. However, achieving these ambitious goals requires starting from basic principles to establish a solid foundation. Among the available options in the market, the Thor Robotic Arm stands out as one of the most cost-effective robotic arm machinery. Its appeal lies in its flexibility and adaptability, as it is constructed to be able to navigate in 6 degrees of freedom and can be easily modified by integrating additional modules into its control system. This project focuses on transforming Thor Robotic Arm into a robot for recreational purposes and providing additional support to the shortage of manpower in the Arts Education Industry, addressing both hardware and software challenges encountered along the way.
