Description
Summary:The COVID-19 epidemic has caused an unprecedented spike in internet activity, which has led to an increase in online attacks. This underscores the urgent need for stronger security measures. In response, this research investigates how to strengthen online security through the use of multimodal biometric-based authentication. The suggested system aims to enhance the security of online services and applications by utilizing several biometric modalities, including fingerprint and facial recognition, in combination with password authentication. The objective of this project is to enhance the security of online services and applications by integrating various biometric modalities, such as fingerprint and facial recognition, alongside traditional password authentication. This report presents the development and testing of individual components, namely the password, face, and fingerprint recognition systems. Moving forward, future work will focus on refining and combining these systems to create a unified multimodal biometric authentication solution, thus contributing to the advancement of online security measures.
