This QCL is designed to reach a continuously tunable range of ~62 cm-1 using its designed tuning mechanism. On top of that, this report covers the theoretical analyses calculations of the materials to numerically simulate the effects of the slot to eventually achieve a feasible widely tunable Slot QCL design at 4.7µm.
