Description
Summary:This report discusses the design, construction and testing of a hovercraft. The project examines the principles of aerodynamics and propulsion that enable a vehicle to hover above the ground. By analysing engineering techniques, the report shares the methods of constructing the hovercraft, the parts and the software used. Propellers will power the hovercraft to keep it afloat and propel it forward. It will be powered by an electronic circuit and will be remote-controlled with the help of a transmitter and receiver. Softwares used include Autodesk Fusion 360 - a computer-aided design software used to generate the graphics of the 3D printed components; Cura Ultimaker - a slicing software which processes the graphics of the software mentioned earlier into code recognisable by 3D printing machines. The components shall be assembled to construct the hovercraft.. The insights and knowledge acquired while assembling the hovercraft will be advantageous to individuals committed to understanding the construction of comparable projects.
