This final year report will present an analysis of energy management of portable power supply using solar energy, with particular emphasis dedicated to its performance, efficiency, design, and suitability for a range of settings. This report will start with an overview of the growing demand for portable power sources in off-grid living scenarios, outdoor activities, disaster relief efforts, and isolated regions. It calls the spotlight on the advantages solar-powered solutions have for the environment and energy independence, highlighting how they can lower carbon emissions and lessen dependency on fossil fuels. The paper then dives into the portable power supply system’s technicality which entails its main elements namely the photovoltaic (PV) panels, energy storage devices, charge controllers, and inverters. These details will be covered, along with their functions in capturing, storing, and translating pure solar energy into useful electricity. In addition, it assesses the effectiveness of these parts, considering variables such as durability against the weather and portability. Furthermore, the report will cover future work and the feasibility of options outside of portability such as grids, projecting future trends. Lastly, the report will signify the value of the portable power supply alongside its energy management as an environmentally friendly option for localized energy production. To improve global energy availability, it promotes greater adoption of these systems. Portable solar solutions can empower people and communities by utilizing the sun’s energy and accelerating the transition to a greener sustainable future.
