Titled "The School of Real Men," this project utilises a satirical student handbook to explore the unequal distribution of domestic labour within Singaporean households. The fictitious curriculum aims to equip young men with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage household tasks and the associated emotional labour traditionally expected of women. Through humour and gentle criticism, the project seeks to raise awareness of the often-invisible workload borne by women in the domestic sphere. Ultimately, it strives to inspire a shift in societal attitudes, encouraging men to become more conscious and engaged partners within their homes. By promoting a more equitable sharing of domestic responsibilities, this project has the potential to contribute to a more balanced and supportive family environment.
