Summary: | The unique features of RF-EH include its controllability, predictability, reliability, and ability to distribute energy to multiple nodes simultaneously. Choosing the 2.4GHz frequency band for this RF energy harvester, commonly used in urban environments, highlights its broad applicability and suitability for various applications.
The goal of this project is to develop a 2.4GHz RF-EH system capable of generating a DC voltage to power electronic devices. This RF-EH system utilizes a single Wi-Fi antenna to receive signals at a frequency of 2.4GHz and harnesses this RF energy. The design process involves using Keysight’s Advanced Design System (ADS) software to design the entire circuit and Eagle CAD software to design the PCB board. |
