Description
Summary:This research is part of a collaborative effort between my supervisor’s research group and NTU to explore various ideas with the focus on the development of wearable sensors to measure the concentration of physiological parameters in one’s body fluid. The focus of this project is to develop an algorithm that can analyse the signal readings from these technologies which are of known levels of dissolved oxygen (DO), glucose and alcohol concentration and comparing them to the voltage and current outputs. The algorithm must be able to subsequently generate the calibration curve between the peak current outputs and the concentrations, so that the concentration of unknown sample can be calculated based on the measured current signals. Figure 1 Schematic of algorithm flow. This project will explore the different signal processing methods like cleaning of data, rotating of data sets, pinpointing maximum points, and deriving linear relationship. The report will discuss about the usefulness of these methods and the application to each parameter.
