Description
Summary:This project aims to test the hypothesis that there is a correlation between the four different groupings of chromosomes. 1. Chromosome 3 with Denisovan chromosome 3 2. Chromosome 3 with Neanderthal chromosome 3 3. Chromosome 12 with Denisovan chromosome 12 4. Chromosome 12 with Neanderthal chromosome 12 By testing the hypothesis of the chromosomes’ correlation, we will be able to better understand the possible mechanisms of how the genetic immune system responds to viral invasion and in this case, why certain patients are critically ill and why others do not possess any of the symptoms. This project will be conducted through bioinformatic analysis from various open-source COVID-19 patient databases. In addition, the project’s limitations will be discussed in this report.
