Description
Summary:The Beast in The Woods is a 2D animated short film produced by Tan Wee Jin, Benjamin, Ng Yanzhi, Tan Pang Min Angelina and Ryan Pua Jin Hin. Developed over the course of three schooling semesters under the supervision and guidance of Professor Davide Benvenuti, this short film narrates the tragic story of a young hunter grappling with his guilt, ultimately resorting to self-sacrifice. It delves into the themes of one’s reconciling one’s actions with their conscience, and lightly touches upon the influence of societal norms on one’s moral compass. This report outlines my journey and contribution to this thesis film, spanning from the initial stages of visual exploration to the creation of finalised character designs and animation.
