With tons of applications available for download, users have access to a wide variety of features that cater to their needs, such as social networking, entertainment, and utility. However, while there are a large number of mobile applications on the market that feature text recognition capabilities, few of them are specifically designed for extracting graphical or textual information from forms. This is where FormCapture comes in. FormCapture is an Android mobile application developed using the Flutter framework and the services provided by Firebase. The main purpose of FormCapture is to simplify the time-consuming task of manual data entry by automatically extracting information from forms. FormCapture is useful in scenarios where one needs to frequently handle form data, such as administrative tasks, data collection or documentation processes. In order to extract information from forms, users can either upload an image using their device’s camera or by selecting an existing image from their photo gallery. FormCapture then uses OCR technology to extract text information from the uploaded image. The recognized text is then displayed for the user to read and edit.
