Description
Summary:In the face of increasing energy expenses, we must concentrate on implementing effective cooling methods in High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers. This study focuses on optimizing the positioning of Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRACs) to enhance efficiency and reduce energy usage. This study begins by conducting a thorough examination of current CRAC placement procedures, and then carefully analyzes how these methodologies affect the efficiency of cooling. A comprehensive examination of various CRAC designs is conducted through a series of controlled tests using simulation models. The results provide vital insights into the best method for placing CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units in HPC (High-Performance Computing) data centers. This strategy has the potential to greatly improve cooling efficiency, save energy, and reduce operational costs for data center infrastructures. Data center operators can substantially enhance overall performance and sustainability by strategically placing CRAC units, aligning with the increasing need for energy-efficient solutions in high-performance computing
