It has been observed over the years that a lot of students face severe difficulty in understanding and passing this module. This is potentially due to a lack of interest in programming arising out of conventional methods of instruction. Since programming in C lays the foundation for a variety of advanced engineering study, efforts are necessary to kindle and sustain interests of the students while learning this module. The primary objective of this project is to analyze interactive new ways to teach the students. Online learning is to traditional face-to-face learning what e-business is to traditional companies. Much has been know about the disadvantages of online learning. More and more researchers turn to find learning models integrating both advantages of online learning and face-to-face learning. Partial online learning or blended learning environment is one of them. This hybrid learning environment has both the traditional face-to-face lectures and computer mediated communication, such as web material, online question posting, and email list. This report describes survey conducted to identify potential problem areas faced by the students taking FE1008 module. This report describes the implementation of a comprehensive, robust, sustainable and scalable learning portal for the FE1008 - Computing module. The features kept in mind when designing the website are interactivity, dynamism, focused functionality, security and administration flexibility.
