Hayu typology and verbal morphology
The following notes on Hayu are based on field work by Martine Mazaudon and myself in the village of Morajor, Ramechhap District, Nepal. Hayu is a Tibeto-Burman language with probably less than 500 speakers, all of whom speak Nepali, an Indo-Aryan language.
