Description
Summary:Stretchable and conductive interconnections are needed for integration of flexible electronics. Liquid metal can provide the conductivity in the interconnection. Eutectic gallium-indium (EGaIn) alloys have high conductivity, low toxicity and low vapour pressure, making it a suitable conductor, however, it is not stretchable nor adhesive. Suspending EGaIn particles in polyacrylic acid (PAA) polymer matrix will make it stretchable and adhesive. This project aims to investigate the possibility of a EGaIn-PAA composite as a interconnection for integration of flexible electronics.
