We begin by reassessing the traditional roles of modern universities, including the roles of campuses and faculty. We then examine the evolving function of the university campus and consider how professors' roles are shifting as information becomes more readily accessible. Recognizing the importance of enhancing learning outcomes in STEM, this talk addresses the effects of widespread AI applications in teaching and learning, highlighting the benefits and challenges for students navigating AI-driven environments in STEM fields. This presentation aims to explore strategies for integrating AI into STEM education. By thoughtfully embracing AI, we hope to better prepare students for the future, helping them become creative and ethical leaders in our rapidly changing world.
