This report examines the deployment and performance of the Digital Video Broadcasting – Second Generation Terrestrial (DVB-T2) standard in Singapore, with a focus on its implementation within a Single Frequency Network (SFN) framework. Through comprehensive field measurements across various locations, key metrics—such as signal strength (dBm), Carrier-to-Noise Ratio (CNR), and Modulation Error Ratio (MER)—were assessed to determine signal quality and reliability. The findings reveal the influence of environmental and geographical factors on signal stability within the SFN, offering insights for network optimization and expansion. This study provides valuable data and recommendations for improving DVB-T2 digital broadcasting in densely populated urban areas, laying a foundation for further enhancements to digital broadcast services.
