description |
We are entering into climate change where the average global temperature of the
planet rises and will continue to increase in the coming years. Climate change is one
of the biggest challenges facing humanity and the impact of climate has caused
hunger due to unsuitable weather of growing food and water drying up. The future
effect of climate change expected to include warmer atmosphere, a higher sea level
and changes to weather conditions.
The adoption of solar energy has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas
emissions into the environment and mitigate climate change
The photovoltaic solar cells are made up of a p-n junction diode, the solar cells
formed together to form a solar panel or known as solar array. Photovoltaic power
generation uses solar cells which are made of semiconductor materials to convert
solar radiation energy into electricity for electrical load consumption.
There is various application of these solar energy in the field such as portable
electronic devices, defense, space, transportation, agriculture and many other.
Harvesting solar energy is becoming an important part of the goal toward clean and
renewable energy, and a sustainable world without damaging our ecosystem and
cause more pollutions. |
