Large organizations typically initiate BCP, but there is a need for integration at all levels to enhance project resilience. Mid-career professionals are crucial in BCP development, bringing flexibility and technological expertise, while inter-departmental teamwork is essential for effective continuity planning. Although there is a solid understanding of risk management, the study reveals that BCPs are only partially implemented, highlighting an opportunity to improve operational integration. The integration of BCPs into project management was recognized by 81.7% of industry practitioners as essential for enhancing project resilience. The research adopted a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative surveys. Sixty respondents were selected from Singapore's construction industry (Penta-Ocean) to explore the integration of project management, risk assessment, and BCP practices. The methodology included a literature review and a pilot study to ensure clarity and relevance. Key findings include that 65% of respondents believe the integration of BCP, project management, and risk assessment is highly effective. Additionally, 71.7% identified enhanced training as the primary method for improving BCP integration. The findings help enhance project resilience and operational continuity in the construction industry. By learning best practices in integrating BCP, project management, and risk assessment, organizations can prevent disruptions, control uncertainties, and manage activities to safeguard outcomes in a dynamic environment. The research concludes that effective project management and comprehensive BCP strategies strengthen an organization’s ability to manage risks and enhance resilience. Future research should focus on enhancing BCP training, improving feedback mechanisms, and adapting project management to evolving technological and regulatory changes.
