Summary:This report details the design and development of a social robot companion, created to interact with users in a meaningful and engaging way. The robot combines advanced hardware and software to provide both physical and conversational capabilities, fostering social interaction and emotional support. Key design elements include the ability to convey emotions, and speech recognition for communication with an AI chatbot powered by a Raspberry Pi. The robot is powered by an Arduino board, connected to a servo motor driver for movement control, and utilizes external power sources for efficient operation.
