复仇，即人类的一种本能行为，同时亦在伦理的框架下逐渐发展 为一种文化。传统叙事中的复仇故事不胜枚举，其中不容错过的是女性 复仇叙事,而其独树一帜的原因不仅仅是女性在父权中所面临来自家庭与 社会的压制，还有自身力量的局限。现有文献，大多是以研究后世文学 为主，研究后世文学顺带向前朝文化寻本，但是笔者认为应追本溯源。 本论文架构为六章，第一章，古代复仇概观。首先区分报复与复仇，复 仇与法律的拉扯以及复仇与文化的角度着手，再者，梳理先秦至宋元明 清之复仇观，见微知著，重点理清不同朝代对于复仇的不同看法。第二 章，性别视域下的古代复仇叙事。将视角放在两性复仇。先聚焦不同朝 代的女性复仇特点，再放置在两性角度下，试图找出不同性别中复仇目 的、复仇方式、复仇结局的异同。第三章，汉唐史传文学中的女性复仇 故事。从史传文学入手，分析中国古代史传中女性复仇叙事，将其中的 女性复仇形象分为“次要”及“主要”角色进行分析，探究其在史传文 学中被塑造的方式以及原因。第四章，汉唐小说中的女性复仇叙事。聚 焦小说，首先，分析衍生于史传文学中的女性复仇者，分析她们的复仇 方式以及对后世的影响。其次将焦点放在唐代，具体分析唐小说中的女 性复仇叙事之“奇”。第五章，叙事视角下的汉唐女性复仇。从人物语 言、“史才、诗笔、议论”的角度分析女性复仇文本。最后，运用文图 学方法，分析图像中的女性复仇叙事。第六章，古代女性复仇方式与后 世演变。在中国古代历史长河之中，女性复仇的两种形式——“母杀 子”以及“割阳具”，从专属于女性的复仇方式上分析不同朝代女性选 择相同复仇方式之原因与殊异。 Revenge is more than just an instinctive behaviour of human beings: it is also deeply embedded in culture ethics. Traditional narratives are replete with stories of revenge, among which narratives of female revenge are particularly noteworthy. These narratives emphasize the oppression women experienced under patriarchy and the constraints on their power. Existing literature mainly focuses on later literary studies, but it is equally important that we should revisit to the origins. This thesis is organised into six chapters. Chapter 1 Offers an overview of ancient revenge. It differentiates between revenge and retaliation, analyses the tension between revenge and the law, and explores revenge from a cultural perspective. Additionally, it highlights the different perspectives on revenge across Different dynasties. Chapter 2 examines ancient revenge narratives from a gender perspective, focusing on male and female revenge. It compares the motives, methods, and outcomes of revenge between genders. Chapter 3 analyses female revenge stories in historical literature from the Han to the Tang dynasty, categorizing the female revenge characters and exploring their portrayal in these texts. Chapter 4 focuses on female revenge narratives in novels from the Han to the Tang dynasty, exploring female avengers derived from historical literature and their Impact on subsequent period. It then specifically examines the unique characteristics of female revenger narrative in Tang Tales. Chapter 5 explores female revenge in the Han and Tang dynasties from a narrative perspective, analysing the character dialogue, historical writing(shicai), Poetic Flair(shibi) and Discursive Power (yilun) aspects of female revenge texts. Finally, it employs the "text and image" method to analyse female revenge narratives in stone carvings. Chapter 6 investigates the evolution of ancient female revenge methods. It examines two forms of female revenge in Chinese history— filicide and the emasculation，analysing the reasons why women in different dynasties chose these specific methods and the variations in their expressions.
