本文为比较文学的研究论文，笔者将会采用平行研究的方法来对所研究的对象进行比较与探讨。平行研究注重比较那些有相似性、但无事实联系的不同国家、不同民族的作家作品和文学现象，研究异同点，得出切实结论。本文以《了不起的盖茨比》和《骆驼祥子》两部没有“事实联系”的作品为对象，对其进行平行比较之研究。文中主要通过比较两者的人物命运、主题思想和叙述技巧来带出不同思想意识如何影响文学，以及文学在创作中如何表现出作家的思想意识。文中也会涉及到存在主义、现代主义以及现实主义这三个哲学思想与概念，尝试通过比较两部作品的相似性与差异性来探讨哲学与文学的关系，为两部作品的研究打开全新的视角。 This paper is a research paper on comparative literature. Parallel research focuses on comparing the works and literary phenomena of writers from different countries and nationalities that have similarities but no factual connection, studying the similarities and differences and drawing practical conclusions. This paper takes "The Great Gatsby" and "Rickshaw Boy" as two unrelated works as the objects and conducts a parallel comparative study on them. The article mainly compares the fate of the characters, themes, and narrative techniques of the two to show how different philosophies affect literature, and how literature expresses philosophical thoughts in creation. The article will also involve the three philosophical thoughts and concepts of existentialism, modernism, and realism, and try to open a new perspective for the study of the two works by comparing the similarities and differences between the two works and the relationship between philosophy and literature.
